Ok, so never heard of this place and was going to visit a friend and told him I would pick up dinner for the few of us. I got the Hawaiian pizza. I was a little skeptical because it was over $30. Talk about being pleasantly surprised. The pizza was massive. The ingredients were thick and hearty, and it just tasted fresh. Even my buddies could not stop complementing the pizza. The dough was so fresh and very thick pieces of ham! It's a small place, and I was just doing pick up. But I didn't have to wait long. I watched them take it out of their pizza oven and put it in the box, so I know it wasn't sitting around all day. The other important note was that when I refreshed my slice that I brought home, it reheated very well. That's always a sign of a good pizza. Again as I said earlier, very pleasantly surprised with the pie and will more than happily order from them again.
I loooooove this place. Every time I'm in the area. Gotta grab some Pie! And if I don't bring it home Omghee am I in trouble. Slide in and grab some slices. Every day 11.00 two slices and a drink!
There's a lot of horrific food options near LAX. This place is solid. I love that they give you a dozen pizza slice options and have various specials. Although the slices have been premade (ala Sbarro) once they warm it up a few minutes it tastes fresh. I've stopped by several times and always leave satisfied. I should try a full pie sometime to compare.
What drew me to this pizzeria was the amount of specialty pizzas they had and their $5 slices! I really wanted a white pizza and they have 3! I tried the Whitestone and BBQ pizza and it was exactly what I craved!! The Whitestone was creamy, cheesy, and had notes of garlic that weren't overpowering but complimenting. The BBQ pizza was not overloaded with bbq sauce and had a lot of chicken and onions poured over it! I would have enjoyed it more if the chicken had more seasoning, it did taste a little chicken-y for me. My son devoured the pepperoni pizza, and my husband the Hawaiian. The dough wasn't as thick as some reviews made it seem. Try this place for yourself! I can't wait to try more from here!
